Roofing on The Bounty

Thinking about the very first contract carried out by Mayfield Roofing, back in 1984
it was time to write a blog post about it,

You can read the full story on our main website:  Mayfield Roofing

It was refurbishing house roof for a lovely lady, who lived alone, in the leafy suburbs of Birmingham.

The contract was refurbishing house roof for her and replace the gutters and fascias,
amongst other things which I can no longer remember.

Now if Mayfield Roofing are in the business of refurbishing house roof in
South Birmingham you may be wondering about my title;

Roofing on the Bounty

It is all about a hero who was much maligned as very a cruel man
by the press and Hollywood

You can find out the full story on our main website:  Mayfield Roofing

I also want to enjoy the summer

However, I am just saying that a few hours 'Work' now
could save yoiu days of heart-ache at the end of the year

If you have a Factory or other comercial building

Asbestos Roof Leaks - What Can I Do?

In our main website, www.Mayfield-Roofing.co.uk we recently
published the details of how we transformed an old garage.

Th garage had an asbestos sheeted roof that was leaking in a few areas
Over the years, many attempts had been made to stop the leaks
with very little success

Here is a very short video of how we managed the transformation:

Don't forget, if you would like to know more, the full story is on

Stable Block TLC - Final Day

If you have been following the story of the refurbishment of
the Stable Block that needed some TLC,
Here is the final part of our tail:

There has been a few days delay because heavy rain made
the meadow waterlogged and we could not get our vehicles close
to the project.

As usual, this and other projects are described in more detail on
our main blog http://Mayfield-Roofing.co.uk

You may recall, the shed at the end of the stables had the
wooden doors fitted at our last visit, well now, we have also
sheeted in the remaining front section

P2240144

The brickwork to the front of the building has now been repointed
completely so it is stronger and totally weather proof

Stablespointing

The windows have been glazed with 6mm clear Polycarbonate sheet
this makes it both vandle proof and secure

P2240141
P2240134

so there you have it, the final project finished

As mentioned before, you can keep upto date with more detail on
our main blog http://Mayfield-Roofing.co.uk

Just a reminder of what it was like when we started
